Standard floppy disk controller Driver for INTEL_ - D845GVFN working on Microsoft Windows XP Professional. Standard floppy disk controller. Hardware ID: ACPI PNP0700.
I've already been through all the manufactures drivers, Including third party Uniblue Driver Scanner which also got hacked so it wouldn't work anymore as well as Driverpacks.net but thanks for the suggestion. I ended up deleting that Virtual OS but if anyone ever comes up with a solution feel free to post it. I don't expect that someone else would ever end with a system like my own that also got hacked by the same lame heavy-set old man with a gimp leg, childlike satanist Illuminati idiot hacker that works for level3.net as a software hacker, consultant & developer but It just might end up helping someone else that ends up getting a similar problem with a mysteriously missing driver or family member. This guy's been messing with me for years & recently let me know it was him all along right along with the 333 of this region that he also happens to be a part of. Screw all the Illuminati, The 333 & the evil trinity they represent right along with their so called 'Sun God'(Trapped & canned Satan). Ʌ(Pyramid) +V(Inverted Pyramid) = Spiritual death to all the evil ones on December.-'.
'. /.' ( A ).-'.- ' '.-'.-' `'`/'.-'.-' `-' '.' . ` `'.,) The return of the 'Sun God' will only bring destruction to all the Illuminati that worship him!
I know you probably used you're as a silent protest of the evil of the Illuminati and their stranglehold on society by way of forcing people to avoid splitting infinitives, but I corrected it in the quote. Anyway, I guess that is in reference to my avatar.
Not sure what the colours really have to do with an association with any particular group (real or imagined). I mean, Grass is green, but do you assume that a gardener is in league with the Illuminati? How are they colours of the illuminati anyway, seems unfair for them to take half the visible spectrum. Or maybe that's how they operate. Take control of half the visible electromagnetic spectrum, delete Drivers from their enemies PCs,. Well, I'm sure it all fits together some way.
Maybe they will make a painting. In what way is it clear? Also, I don't know if I'd qualify. I used Illuminatus back in the day, is that a prerequisite?
Anyway, I've done a bit more research on this. It seems the Illuminati have a very colourful history.I think I finally understand the Illuminati.
It's all so clear to me, once you understand the history. See, Once upon a time(a Thursday), in the Magical land of America, there were two royal sisters. And they were like wizards. One of them, the elder, was responsible for raising the sun for the day, and the younger was responsible for raising the moon at night. (Kepler be damned).
![Windows Windows](https://31.media.tumblr.com/701bd2d754de674ce59aa730f7c76023/tumblr_inline_n5sk8kvoPe1sdv2q4.jpg)
Over time, the younger sister became resentful, People went to work and played during her sisters glorious day, but shunned, and slept her sisters beautiful night. Also, she had to work all night so she never got to see things like David Letterman.
I mean, really, she wasn't missing much, but people crave that which they do not have, and she couldn't watch it so she really wanted too. One fateful Night.
Or, well, Morning I guess, the younger sister refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. This kinda sucked for everyone, people thought it was like daylight savings time and they forgot or something. The older tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the young ones heart had transformed her into a wicked witch of darkness, Cribbage Moon.
Her special powers were primarly with being really really good at cribbage. And of course being able to take on any form at any time and having psychokinetic powers rivaling even the fictitious abilities of Superman. So yeah, anyway, she vowed to shroud the world in darkness (she was very goth, I guess, very emo about it- pale skin, bad makeup, etc) The older sister was all 'Not cool' and the younger was like 'is too' and the older responded 'is not', etc. So anyway, the older sister stomped off and used the most powerful magic known to the people at the time, the Elements of Harmony. They were pretty colours.
They didn't actually represent elements, really, that was just a convenient moniker. I mean really, that would be pretty annoying to try to gather all the elements in the periodic table, as well as pretty unexciting. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't find anything particularly magical or exciting about Boron. So anyway, she took these 'elements', which were really just colourful gemstones, and shined a bright flashlight through them. Cribbage Moon- who was distracted playing Cribbage- looked up and had her eyes assaulted by a bright multi-hued light. Remember she was pretty goth/emo so she sorta thought she was a vampire, and the light had the psychosamatic effect of making her explode.
For some reason, she just lost her outer cribbage expert shell. She also lost the ability to boil water or turn a cat into a Ferrari by looking at it, but those were pretty overrated powers anyway; I mean, you can only turn so many cats into Ferrari's and Bugatti's before you either get bored or run out of cats. How does this factor into the Illuminati? Well, it's pretty clear! The ultimate goal of the Illuminati is not necessarily to control the world (which they effectively do, allegedly) but rather to seek out the Elements of Harmony Playset so that they can harness their power to become world-famous cribbage players.
The fact is, though, that the colours of the elements- Red, Green, and Yellow- that are now used to indicate the Illuminati, err. Well, somewhere, I guess. I couldn't find any citations about their symbolic colours. I guess you had inside information. Nobody knows what the other colours were, though. I mean it's a safe assumption that they were, say, Purple, Blue and Orange, Maybe Indigo too.
Some might say there is an Ultra-violet element, but nobody has seen it. Well, it being outside the visible light spectrum I guess that makes sense. But there was a 6th element that nobody knew about. This is what the Illuminati is truly after.
The 6th Element, held by Twilight Sparkle in the Magical land of Equestria. However, in order to access the land of Equestria, The illuminati will need to create a Stargate. I have created a artist mockup of what travelling to Equestria might look like, which can be viewed.
It's worth noting that Equestria get's it's name naturally from the sentient inhabitants being largely comprised of equines; more or less it's a parallel dimension. Anyway, turns out they have their own crazy backstory involving some Nightmare Moon, elements, yadda yadda, sealed in the moon for a 1000 years to return on the longest day of the thousandth year, etc. Anyway, what is important to the Illuminati is to get a hold of that Element. With that Element they will unlock not only the power to control the Earth, but the power to control everything, including alternate universes; this includes not only Philadelphia, but also Fillydelphia- not just Stalingrad, but also Stalliongrad. Not just Manhattan, but also Manehattan, Not just buckingham palace, but also Geldingham palace (whose purpose is a bit less exciting and something many a colt recoil from, but let's not get into that).
Anyway you get the idea, I would hope. Additionally, and perhaps equally important, once they have all 6 elements, they will have the ability to be like, really good at cribbage. And If that isn't everybody's life-long dream, well, I don't know what to say. But time is running out for The Illuminati.
They have been trying for the last thousand years to access The magical Land of Equestria, but once the thousand years are over, the universes will be out of alignment (it's complicated, involves a lot of trigonometry and stuff) and it will no longer be possible to dimension jump using a fictitious wormhole. That's why they have become more aggressive. For the Illuminati. Seriously, How much time did you waste on that short little story? Not important either way. Honestly though, I can see in your avatar a few more things that I wasn't really looking for.
1)Besides the colors that are clearly there(Green, Red, Yellow) There are the others that you were pointing out as well. Purlple: Known for it's roots in royal families(Privileged Illuminati) throughout the history of virtually all civilizations. Blue: You're more than likely referring to royal blue that was generally worn by royal women(See above). Orange: To represent the Sunrise & Sunset. Indigo: Clearly what is referred to as Royal Blue.
2)The mountain witch(I mean which, pardon me.) is often seen as sacred & also happens to resemble the pyramids. 3) the hidden 3(I mean B) in your avatar that represents the trinity. Nice try but there is no need to hide your cowardly & secretive ways, Then again that how the first Italiano's(I mean Illuminati) have done things since the first secretive takeover of Egypt. This is a brand new system - started off with a 380W PS. Specs: AMD Dual core X2 64 5000+ Abit Motherboard - model NF-M2S (Socket AM2) 1 Gig DDR2 Ram (tried other sticks of RAM to attempt to isolate RAM issue) Integrated Video - NVidia Geforce FX 6100. Disabled onboard video and put in a Radeon X5115 1 SATA WD HDD - 500 gig Windows XP Pro SP2 - all service packs installed/patches I turn on the computer - and it does it's POST - and begins to load windows - showing the Windows XP screen with the animated scrolling at the bottom - after about 5-10 seconds of this - the computer just completely shuts down.
I am on the computer now in 'Safe mode with Networking' and all seems fine. I have reformatted the drive 3 times now and re-installed Windows XP - and even tried a different CD to install from (MSDN retail version) - and it's all the same. I thought it may be a power issue - so I went and purchased a 550W PS with dual fan cooling.
I successfully upgraded the BIOS to the latest available with no problems. I've ran chkdsk several times - and all seemed ok - if it found anything it apparently has not marked it as bad. I have disconnected the DVD (IDE) and it still will just power down. CPU Temp is ok - 30-34c - System is close to the same in temp. I have reseated the CPU and made sure everything is connected properly - I also moved the 1 gig of ram to the other slot - same results The case has 2 system fans and I have had the side off for awhile - making sure it wasn't a heat issue. I then took my computer to work - thinking maybe the voltage here is screwed up - but it did the same thing at work.shuts down completely during boot.
Changed power cords - (using the one that came with the new Power supply).Note - the system worked perfectly for about 30 days - and I powered it down one day - then went to power it back up - and ever since then it's had this problem. The power supply issue has been taken out of being suspect because I replaced it - also replaced the SATA cable to the hdd to the mother board. I inspected the mother board very closely for any swollen / leaking capacitors and they all look fine - as this is a brand new mother board. I tried disabling the onboard HD Audio in the bios and in safe mode from the device manager - thinking something was wacked with that - and nothing.
I have totally exhausted all my thoughts / knowledge of PCs in troubleshooting this problem - the only last thing I can think of is the hard drive is bad (but why does it book fine in safe mode?) or something is wrong with the CPU (which I didn't replace being it's the most expensive component.not really an option right now - also the CPU fan is operating at normal speeds. I have ran a CPU test program called 'CPUStabTest.exe' and let it run for a little over an hour.
in safe mode. and everything seemed fine - nothing crashed - and I have no idea what it was doing - but it would hit my DVD drive - so I guess it was cycling through all devices and pushing the CPU because it did suck up CPU% time. The memory voltage is 1.8v - and I tried - just for grins setting it on the old chip to 1.9v and nothing. The BIOS is holding the settings - so I know it's not a battery issue either. Today I powered it down - removed the power cable - moved the CMOS jumper to clear CMOS - and removed the battery - let it sit for about 5 minutes - then put it all back - and it did reset the CMOS completely and held the boot seq. And time (only things I changed to keep it at defaults) No go - so I tried fail-safe settings - no go - I tried optimized settings - no go. Does anyone have any ideas?
I am totally stuck. Anyone have any ideas that I could have missed? This is very frustrating.
Thanks in advance! While in safe mode, go to msconfig from the startrun box select the boot.ini tab place a check in /sos save, exit and reboot to normal mode you will see the drivers that are being loaded as they are loaded. Pay attention and write down the last driver you see. Donload and run loadorder from sysinternals in safe mode this will list the driver order that they are loaded in. Look for the driver you wrote down (last successful one). The next in the loadorder list is the bad guy. Once identified, try to uninstall/re-install it.
If you haven't already, try booting with the default vga video from safe mode. Also try disabling the video card and re-enabling the on-board video.
If you identify the bad driver using loadorder and need more help, post the driver here please. I have did the msconfig32 and it did not really tell me anything - it goes by way to fast - even for me to pause the screen - then fails of course. However - running MSINFO32 - I did see a problem device: PS/2 Compatible Mouse - Error: This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. So I checked out the device manager and view 'show hidden devices' and seen the PS/2 mouse with the yellow! Next to it - as well as other USB/HIB - something like that with the yellow! - but was identified as Logitech - which is my wireless mouse/keyboard - plugged into 1 USB device - (the receiver) controls both devices - so I tried putting the adapter on the PS/2 end of the cable (the cable has 1 USB and 1 PS/2 with an adaptor - so I plugged both into the PS/2 - no results, so I am doing a repair install of Windows - in hopes this corrects it. Being this is a 500 gig drive - you think if I lowered the disk space for the partition - that would make a difference?
Remember too - I can stay in safe mode w/ networking all day long! It's just nasty and allot of non-functional things - but it doesn't turn off the computer. Stand by as I continue to trouble shoot the path you guys have provided. Will I lose any advantages from going from ACPI to 'standard PC'? There is not setting to disable this in the BIOS either. I just disabled everything that had to do with Power Management - but there is one you can't just change.
Jjloki: I reinstalled windows - reformatted the drive - and used my mouse/keyboard using the PS/2 - and it then showed a conflict with the USB Mouse - It's just a simple Logitech EX110 mouse/kb combo. I don't understand how this would cause a complete 'power down' - I can understand the blue screen or just locked up or reboot -but not power down completely. I also went and got some heat sink compound - and refitted the CPU and the FAN on it - adding a little of the grease to make sure it had a good touch.
Remember this too - I can stay in Safe mode with Network support all day long and everything works fine - it never shuts down. I have never seen this problem. The only thing I can think of is something is wrong with the motherboard or the hard drive - but what stumps me is everything was working just fine - and it has only been in use for maybe 3 weeks - and I power it down (and have before as well with no problems) - and now it's doing this. I will await a response regarding the ACPI vs.
Standard PC ( I realize the computer will not turn off - that I will have to turn it off manually - but that's about all I know) I just want to know if I will lose performance - my dual core CPU (will it make it only see it as a single?) etc. I've changed the driver to MPS for the PC and so far it's stable - running updates - however it keeps finding the PS/2 stuff in the msinfo32 PS/2 Compatible Mouse ROOT.PNP0F03 1021031 0 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. PS/2 Keyboard ROOT.PNP030B 1022032 0 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. Standard floppy disk controller ROOT.PNP0700 1013000 This device is disabled. Found a 550W PS is very plenty power for not having any plugin cards and being I am only running an AMD Athlon X2 Dual core 5000+ doesn't consume much - the 380 I had would have been just fine, however it seems the ACPI was the problem - I changed it to MCP Multi Processor PC (before trying standard) has done the trick!!! Note - I did not follow the tweakXP tip - all I did was go into the device manager - selected the ACPI and told it to update the driver and selected the MCP Multi processor - and the computer has been on ever since. After all the updates - 5/12/08 - 9:12 PM CST and still going - record high!!!
Will split points - however TF pointed me the direction of the solution - I have no evidence that that article works or not - however as explain in this message - this is what corrected the problem.
